jack, i will hear from all the giants fans so i apologize. i want to get your take what went down in chicago, my friend? i don't know exactly how brandon johnsond. i know crime was less of a forefont issue for him as it was his opponent who seemed to be leading throughout the race, until final weeks of the race. so he is the guy but you know, progressive are making inroads here. i just took a look at wisconsin and this, you know, battle for the last seat on the supreme court in wisconsin. a progressive won that. so it tips to democrats, progressive democrats at that in wisconsin. what do you make of all of this? >> i think we have to just be real and take the fact that this country is becoming more progressive. it is becoming more liberal. i think liberals are controlling, particularly a lot of our urban inner-city areas. you know, it is concerning when you start to hook at some of the policies that they're supporting. i know mr. johnson said that he doesn't support defunding the police but he was one of the biggest proponents of that. when you start talking about social programs being, what you're leading with while you have, you know crime t

johnson is there in boston. good morning, whit. >> reporter: eva, good morning. we're just getting word the federal judge overseeing jack teixeira's case granted a request from the defense to delay this court hearing another two weeks. defense saying they needed more time to address the arguments from prosecutors as to why teixeira should remain in federal custody. the former massachusetts air national guards man has not entered a plea. he's accused of posting top secret documents on discord, a site popular with young gaugers. in an interview with abc news, one member of that discord group described teixeira as holding libertarian views, and that he was admired by several other users on the platform. the administration has tried to downplay how harmful these leaks have been for the united states's reputation around the world. law enforcement is kicking efforts into high gear to stop the spread of this information. when the detention hearing does take place, we could also learn whether the case moves from here in massachusetts to the state of virginia. that's where a lot of leaked material originated from at the pentagon

committee developed about ron johnson wanting to hand the -- play mailman on the senate floor and get something to mike pence on the floor how interesting do you think jackent joe biden's victory? >> i doubt that he is looking seriously at charging members of congress if they really have speech and debate protection, if there's any reasonable basis for their action, i don't expect they are likely targets like the president. mike pence said in his book, as you noted, and as he said publically, his intention was to contemplate objection. the statute provides members of congress -- one senator and one member of congress objecting to a specific state may adjourn to their chambers to hear evidence. pence's line was, i will facilitate the hearing of evidence if anyone has evidence, they will have that opportunity he is adhering closely to the statute. members of congress, it is their prerogative to bring forth evidence no one to that point had shown any evidence that would cause doubt on the results, despite a lot of people looking for that evidence to this day, they haven't found such evidence. mike pence's line was, appropriately, i'm going to give members o
