retired four star general jack keene. nice to see you, good day to you.s on the board already say it will leave that region dangerously off balance. what is your view of this? >>> well first of all i think we've got to give the president some credit here. while he has repeated time and time again his desire to pull out all the troops in afghanistan, in fact to try to do that before christmas, but yet he has made a decision with his advisors to keep troops in afghanistan. and the why is that? we know he wants to pull them out. it's because the conditions are so unfavorable to pull them all out. what am i talking about? we've got peace negotiations going on between the taliban and the government of afghanistan. we have no cease fire. indeed the taliban have increased the level of violation 50% against the afghan forces since the negotiations have begun. that's making a statement that the taliban is not too serious about having a peace negotiated agreement. if we pull all of our forces out it under cuts any leverage that ourselves and the government of afgha

we're joined by retired four star general jack keen, the chairman of the institute for the study of warck we're hearing from middle east experts was complicated, expensive, required gunmen and ex closeives and all kinds of coordination. for this reason a lot of folks are pointing to israel. what are you thinking about that? >> i put my money on that for sure. the israelis are operating their team inside iran with the most successful penetration of a foreign power i've seen in my lifetime. it is quite extraordinary the extent to which this organization goes and the imagination they display in their operations. yes, they have killed nuclear scientists before. why? they want to delay iran having a nuclear weapon. in 2018 they went into a warehouse in downtown tehran and took out truck loads of classified information, brought them back to tel aviv, put it on television which provided tangible evidence that iran is pursuing the development of a nuclear weapon which it has always denied. they also participate with the united states in a very sophisticated computer virus which destroyed part o
