we were over a fire at the steel plant off embarcadero west just north of jack london square in oakland's one of the nation largest metal repsych letters now under control. in pleasant hill a gas leak forced evacuation in homes and school schools. that leak now capped. construction crew damage a 3 inch steal gas line while excavating a concrete sidewalk near the intersection of roof and viking drives. nearly 300 pg&e customers expected to get the power back by 11:00 o'clock tonight after an explosion in upped ground pg&e vault near folsom and sixth street in san francisco. there was no fire in the vault but there was enough power, enough daniel to cut power in that area. inconvenient but nobody hurt. >> now seems like appropriate time to tell but 2 it was line tests tomorrow. at 6:00 a.m. pg&e will be venting natural gas in preparation for pressure testing on a section of pipeline at 52 avenue and san leandro street in oakland. then at 9:00 a.m. the same thing will be happening near the intersection of edge wood road and interstate highway 280 in san carlos. this pressure testing part o
