kpix 5's jackie ward joins us live in dublin with more on that story. jackie. >> reporter: well, frank, the quiet community of dublin is concerned about the recent robberies that took place behind me on dublin boulevard but some people are also sad after learning that two of the suspects are being described as women between their late teens and early 20s. on monday a woman with a red tattoo or circle on her face and another woman entered the bank and demanding cash from the teller and said they knew where the teller lived and were at their home. no weapon was displayed and they got money. the police and the bank won't go on camera. people who do their errands here with their children are talking to us. they are a little on edge. >> it could have been me! i could have been at the bank. i mean, it's scary. i would hate for my kids to see that happening. >> you know, they're two teenaged girls. it's sad anyways even if it wasn't teenaged girls but i think, yeah, that's kind of crazy. >> reporter: those girls were seen getting into this old gmc yukon driven

jackie has been talking to police tonight and neighbors. jackie, what are you hearing? >> reporter: jim, this is a puzzling troubling incident in a neighborhood that sees very little crime of any kind. about 6:30 this evening, police got a 911 call from a man who said he had just been shot. when officers arrived at the home on clement road, they found a 49-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his abdomen. he was not alone in this house. >> the victim was there and his child was there. >> reporter: ages? >> the victim, i believe, is 47 and i believe the child is either 6 or 8. >> reporter: officers were able to get some information from the victim before he was taken into surgery. >> from what we know, there was a knock at the door. the suspects were at the front door, there seems to have been some type of conversation. at that point we don't know what happened after that. we haven't been able to talk to the victim, he's in surgery. >> reporter: crime scene anal t analysts have seized potential evidence from the home and they believe he may have had a car waiting nearby.

jackie ward is in the newsroom with details on the conference. jackie?he climate summit is hosting 150 world leaders from 105 countries today including president obama. security has been heightened as protesters outside the conference have already had some clashes with police. some are saying the city is essentially on lockdown. before beginning negotiations on how to slow the pace of climate change president obama visited the bataclan theater where the worst of the bloodshed happened a little more than two weeks ago. he was joined by french president frangois hollande . they are working toward an agreement to lower greenhouse gas emissions in order to keep global warming from rising. if it rises scientists say the earth's population would be in danger so the national security council wants countries to find ways to reduce the -- the targets on a regular basis.
