doreen, back to you. >> jackie bensen reporting tonight, thank you, jackie. >>> in orlando, florida, tonight, plans are being made in case casey anthony is set free tomorrow. the maximum sentence she could receive for lying to investigators is four years. but she's already been in jail for three. and many believe she may walk free tomorrow. tonight, abc news interviewed one of the 12 jurors in the case. >> there wasn't enough evidence -- there wasn't anything strong enough to say exactly -- i don't think anyone in america could tell us exactly how she died. if you put even just the 12 jurors in a piece of paper, write down how caylee died, we'd all be guessing. it doesn't feel good. it was a horrible decision to have to make. but i had to do it based on the saslaw. >> noted local defense attorney and former prosecutor rene sandler joins us to talk about all this. what's your take on this? >> i fully expect the judge to release miss anthony and set her free. she served about three years in jail and it's time to move on from this. >> a lot of death threats against casey anthony. is it

jackie bensen with that report. >> i was standing over here by the pump room when i heard her call. >> reporter: lifeguard britanay doddwell had one fleeting thought when she saw the unconscious child pulled from the pool byifeguard, travon lincoln. >> my first reaction, you can't let this boy die. >> reporter: it happened 1:30 p.m. doddwell who works at another city of alexandria pool was at this pool for a lifeguards meeting. >> the child was not breathing when he was pulled from the water. immediately our staff jumped into action and followed an emergency action plan to begin reviving him. >> reporter: once the child was out of the water, doddwell immediately began cpr with fellow lifeguard maureen ogondo calling the breaths. the world stood still as doddwell breathed life into the child's body and began turning again when a woosh of water came out of the boy's mouth. >> i was so, so relieved. i mean, i just -- seeing him come back and seeing him respond and seeing him react, i mean, that -- having a child, myself, just seeing somebody come back in, everything's okay and that's he'

jackie bensen reports on the search and rescue that followed. >> reporter: cliff, the big gray dog, a 3-year-old great dane s as limp as 160 pounds of wet spaghetti, exhausted are after an adventure you have to see to believe. >> the family was having a meal at five guys and we were eating outside and we thought we'd tie the dog to the table and have a burger. and we don't know what spooked him. we don't know what happened. >> just quick-nodded his leash to the table. and the table made a noise or something and he just bolted. >> reporter: security camera video from inside the five guys showed cliff, the table and a huge red umbrella taking off. you have to know the thing that played a big role in cliff's escape was the table. it's not very heavy. you could see how he just lifted it right up. down the pedestrian walkway went cliff as he approached busy south market street and astonished frederick city police officer who grabbed the table. but the dog was running so fast and so hard, the table leg he was tied to broke off. he kept going now with just the table leg dragging behind. the

back to you. >> all right, jackie bensen reporting. kind of look like it was a good call to cancel the backyard barbecue for today. >> i looked at one point and said where are these storms now. i was supposed to go to brandy wine in prince george's county and looked at it, and right in the middle, brandy wine. we had to cancel our backyard weather for the day today, but don't worry, we'll get out there in the next couple weeks. it will be quite nice, at least hopefully, better than what we had today. once again, we needed to see the rain. we didn't need it to come down in buckets like it did today, though. out there, you can see the rain has passed through the district and that is good news. but i do expect to see a chance for more shower activity later tonight. all of the rain now, the heaviest well to the south and east of the district into southern portions of maryland. and you are getting clobbered into southern portions of calvert county, northern portions of st. mary's county. southern charles county also seeing a lot of rain. a
