jackie bensen joins us now with a search for suspects there. jackie? >> reporter: jim, detectives are still on the scene here collecting evidence and going door to door. we are told that two residents of a nearby home for people with intellectual and physical disabilities were walking to the park along with two aides from the home about afternoon. they passed a parked car with two people inside. words were exchanged with one of the group home residents and someone in the car. someone pulled a gun and fatally shot him. the other person in the car appeared shocked by what happened and tried to get out and help the victim. police say they very much want to talk to that person and let them know they know that side of the story, that they got out and tried to help. we're still waiting to hear from prince george's county police for a description of the vehicle and confirmation as to whether the people in the car were men or women. >>> she worked with young kids at a preschool in fort washington. the feds say it was her side job that got her in trouble. tonig

jackie bensen, news4. >>> we are learning new details about a prince george's county teacher accused of having sex with a student. according to charging documents, vincent mcduffie had sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl in his classroom during school hours as well as after school. the student said they had sex several times in the months of march and april. police arrested mcduffie thursday. the district placed him on leave and is in the process of firing him. >>> a unique piece of evidence in a murder trial that's giving the victim a voice from the grave. this case involves a man who was shot and would later die before he passed away. prosecutors say he identified the blinking. tracee wilkins has more on this first ever case. >> this was mr. pates' opportunity to identify his alleged shooter and ultimately alleged killer. >> reporter: for the first time in maryland's history, a homicide victim identifies his shooter before he dies and it is a admissible in court. >> it happened in 2010. mr. pates was left paralyzed from the waist down and couldn't speak. >> reporter: the gunsh

jackie bensen is theron >> reporter: we're told this came to the attention of the police after a 14-year-old girl who was taking a test in scriber's classroom after school went to ask him a question and noticed he appeared to be sliding his phone under her skirt. police have charged him with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor after finding pictures on his phone. the high school teacher was placed on leave last october after a female student expressed concerns to her parents and they called police. scriber has since been fired. the school's principal wrote the charges represent a serious breach of trust, responsibility, integrity, and the law. we spoke to students who say they appreciate that the matter was taken seriously. >> it's really important to know that students are safe all around the school and around the county. >> i it is really important to know so all the students are safe. >> reporter: none of the female victims had any idea that scriber was taking their picture, that they were innocent victims in all this. news4. back to you. >>> match set. after big victories last night,
