news4's jackie bensen was in northeast washington tonight when a house fire brought out a big response. >> in temperatures like this, fight even a relatively small fire can risks for firefighters. >> up two stories on the ladder, carrying and wearing pounds and pounds of fire fighting gear added additional stress to d.c. firefighters. superviseors made sure each one of them visited what the department called a rehab unit, stocked with gatorade, water. >> we try to rotate more frequently. we wear self-con it and breathing apparatus so that limits our time in the environment to 30 to 45 minutes. >> one firefighter was taken to the hospital but stressed that his injuries were not heat related. >> there was a firefighter on the first engine company. he sustained minor back injuries as they were in the process of fighting the fire. >> reporter: officials say the fire was aen related to roof work. the fire department has a second union the that can rig out to do this same type of heat rehab work. that one is also on the street. jackie bensen, news 4. >> tensions and tempers are rising in min

that's where jackie bensen joins us live. what have you learned? >> reporter: this lake is at the center of a quiet townhouse and commercial complex, a few restaurants in here and people started coming out of their homes when they saw all of the emergency lights out here tonight. now what we're told about 7:30, a man who was fishing spotted what he believed to be a body in it is that of an adult male according to police. we believe he is possibly in his 20s according to withins at the scene. a backpack was seen on the shoreline near where the body was found. now fairfax county police tweeted that detectives are checking missing persons reports in an attempt to identify the man. they also tweeted that the body has been taken for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. so, again, investigation just beginning here tonight. live in centreville, jackie bensen, news 4. >>> leon harris watching capitol hill. two more republican senators have come out against the gop's health care bill. that could be a deadly blow. republicans need 50 votes to get that

news 4's jackie bensen reports. >> reporter: recognized with a standing ovation at the national pressurnal award, the parents of charnice milton, a reporter for capital community did news shot and killed the night of may 27th, 2015, as she waited for a bus on good hope southeast. she was returning home from covering a community meeting for capital news. the parents said the police told them the intended target of the shooting grabbed her and used her for a human shield. >> i never had a chance to make those big bylines. but working alongside wonderful colleagues throughout this town and waited on her break when she was tragically taken away from us. >> reporter: d.c. police released these images as atv riders described as persons of interest in the murders. but despite the wide dissemination of those images, no arrests have been made. miltons parents expressed gratitude at the national press club saying it keeps her memory alive. >> i was very excited that her piers recognized her strength and her commitment to the community and how important she was to washington, d.c., and to the wo
