jackie deangelis is with us with more. jackie? >> good evening to you, liz. that is exactly right.ook, the big headline here was inflation. it's a huge problem for voter and this will no doubt be a primary issue in the midterms next year. when asked if inflation has hurt them, 67%, 2/3 of respond dents they'd inflation caused them hardship in the last six months. to put this in context, more than eight in 10 are extremely or very concerned about inflation. that is more than are worried about higher u.s. crime rates, their taxes, the federal deficit and the pandemic. in other words, can biden get inflation under control? that is another question? 47% said he is hurting inflation. so either he is implementing the wrong policies or not doing enough to reverse things that are not working. then of course there is build back better. that massive $1.75 trillion spending bill that is undoubtedly going to cost more than that but that is what democrats want to push through. 41% say that will make inflation worse. 42% said it will hurt the economy. looking at things a little more broadly, 2/3

jackie deangelis here with all the details.arer of bad news here but our fox business poll did indeed that. inflation is a huge worry for many americans and no doubt it will be a big issue for next year's elections as well. look at this 67% of voters polled said inflation hurt them, 67%, 2/3s saying inflation has caused them hardship in the last six months. the next question was, do they think president biden can fix it? the short answer here is no? 47% said he is hurting the situation. he is making it worse. now a lot of of attention has been put on the build back better agenda. 1.75 trillion more in spending that in reality could cost more than that. 46% of respondents say that will push inflation higher if it is passed. on the broader economy the president's economic policies as well, just one in six voters say that they're better off financially than they were a year ago and the majority rates their personal financial situation negatively this time. now the white house says inflation is because of supply and demand issues b

jackie deangelis has more. >> good evening, liz. our foxbusiness boat reveals they don't think the pandemic is under control. only 8% of them said they feel it was. now this number is unchanged from this month last year. that is important because president biden campaigned on doing a better job with covid-19. this poll says he is not doing it. it is also interesting how biden and blue state leaders are handling the recent surge in the oma crime variance. whereas before biden said : no longer controls our lives, we directives in places like new york and california tell a different story. in california, if you have come in contact with anyone who tests positive for covid-19, even if it is vaccinated you have to quarantine for two weeks. a new york a pause on elective surgeries, new mask mandates and vaccines mandates art making doing business really difficult. speaking of those mandates, they are not well-liked by voters for those who favor vaccine to attend indoor events and private only oppose those by a slim margin. some context he

jackie deangelis is back with us. she has got the story. reporter: good evening to you, liz.t's right, this new "fox business poll" out tonight says less than half of voters approve of president biden's job. that number hit a low of 44% lass month. this of course as coronavirus coronavirus cases are back on the rise and a massive spending bill hangs in the balance. supply chain and inflation issues persist. in fact aside from the pandemic, only a little more than a third of voters approve of biden on the economy, taxes, crime, government spending, and immigration. that is a lot of issues where there is falling confidence. voters consistently give president joe biden his best ratings on the pandemic. even there he has lost ground over the last few months. currently 41% of voters approve. 49% disapprove. those are his worst marks on the pandemic to date, a far cry from his ratings back in the spring. when it comes to a number one issue of concern, we talked about it last night, inflation is it, but as crime rates continue to soar across the country almost eight in 10 registered
