fox 35's jackie orozco is there with the latest. hi, jackie. >> reporter: good morning, tom. everything is pretty much crystal clear right now. even before we shot that video there were several cars involved the rain was raining so hard slippery. very slick or drivers, i saw a few hydroplaning as well, perhaps causing that chain reaction there. the car had extensive damage from the front side and rear end. the car was in the left lane earlier. several cars were hit in the right lane. all morning long, there's been a rain from osceola and volusia counties. there were patches of flooded rain. i was given reports earlier in the morning. i saw both cars hydroplaning and trying to regain control. another issue that we have been the wind. it is even windy right now. side-to-side because of the wind. as you can see right here, i-4 is clear of crashes and the roads dried up nicely already this morning. midnight until about 6:00 this morning. just a few fender benders that we saw earlier this morning. for now reporting live here in orlando, jackie orozco, fox 35 news. >> at 9:07 this

and jackie orozco is live with the new information. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, john, police say they have one person in custody in connection with the double shooting that happened right behind me at the apartment complex. let's look at some videos, you see how active it was, several detectives here through the night and they left a few hours ago. conducting their investigation and interviewing witnesses and kensington oaks apartment complex, when they arrived and found a woman in her late 20s with a gunshot wound to her hand and another man with gunshot wounds as well and he was pronounced dead at the scene. and we spoke with the next-door neighbor earlier this morning and she said that her boyfriend heard the commotion and this is what she said: >> i have been here for going to be three years now, never, never, nothing has happened. like this at all. i've never been so close to something like, somebody getting shot next-door. at all, that is just weird. >> reporter: again, one person is in custody. because of this doubl

leak in orlando amy: it started at an apartment building on walden circle at 3:00 this morning. jackie orozco joining us near the scene. jackie, this could have been worse. that's dangerous stuff. reporter: good morning to you. here at the apartment complex behind me in that yellow building. it's clear right now, but those six people were treated right here at the walden palms condominiums. let's look at some video so you can see firefighters and orlando police were here around 2:40 this morning. firefighters say construction workers left a generator on which produced a gas and in turn six people were affected and had the carbon monoxide poisoning. police say family of four from the apartment building drove themselves to the hospital after feeling sick. two more people were taken to the hospital for the same reason. again, six people were treated for the carbon monoxide poisoning. they are expected to be ok. we're staying in touch with the management to find out what the next steps are. reporting live in orlando, john: voters will get to decide whether to make medical marijuana legal in flori

we have jackie orozco leave on the streets this morning. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, jayme king. right now in altamonte springs, troopers have weathersfield avenue closed due to a fatal motorcycle accident. homicide detectives just arrived here a few minutes ago taking measurements and pictures of the accident. we have fhp,ality month police, and winter springs police investigating. the motorcycle is the only one out here. we don't know if another car was involved, hit the motorcycle and took off, or speed was a factor. but when we did arrive, the roads were wet. i talked to a neighbor who said she sees cars speeding up and down this hill every day. so, again, we're still waiting for homicide detectives to talk with us. right now they're quite busy taking pictures and measurements of the scene. this is a fatal motorcycle accident that happened just before 5:00 a.m. this morning. earlier today we were just along along i-4 checking out the roads. it was a little wet here and there, rain, but most of all, during that time traffic

jackie orozco is live at the scene with the latest. what happened here? >> reporter: good morning, such a sad story. i talked to the next-door neighbor who says he has been friends with the man who was killed almost 30 years and he's a hard working man. that he was actually getting up early, wakes up 1:30, 2:00 a.m. because he works at disney and works in landscaping. and he was saying he was a hard working man. it happened in his shed. can see, also there are fire investigators here as well. the neighbor told me it was too painful to talk about his friend on camera. he was telling me that an uber driver saw the smoke and call 911, when firefighters arrived around 2:30 a.m. they say the shed was completely engulfed in flames. and again the shed is directly behind the house and that is where they found the man, deceased. between the age of 50 and 60. and they've been seeing family members coming in and out of the house, devastated about the news. again the fire marshals are trying to investigate what caused the blaze. sad news for the family. now reporting

fox 35's jackie orozco has the latest on what happened there. good morning, jackie. >> reporter: good morning. the medical examiner just left. they recovered the man's body, which is actually inside, it was inside a shed behind the house you see on the screen. initially the call came in as a smoke call in the area. it happened around 2:30 this morning. when firefighters arrived, they said that the shed was completely engulfed. it's about 30 feet behind the house. that a man was working inside of the shed when the fire broke out. firefighters found his body. they have not released his body. he is between the ages of 50 and 60 years old. the battalion chief explained how difficult it is to determine what caused the blaze right now. behe said that a space heater could be blamed. >> it's very cold, so there's a chance that the space heater could have been used. and everything was burned beyond recognition when we found it. >> reporter: back out here live you see several fire trucks still out here. they said they're working on taking care of some hot

jackie orozco has been there for good morning. >> reporter: good morning, ryan. we're still waiting for the identity of that man that was found about half a mile away from the burned home. there is still crime scene tape here, and inside basically destroyed earlier we saw family members here collect some of the belongings but they didn't want to be on camera. heartbroken. they say the man who actually walked away from here was a brother of that family member. again, volucia county sheriff's deputies are saying they found a man that shortly walked away from this home with a gunshot wound. they said it appeared to be self-inflicted. now, took firefighters about 20 minutes to get everything under control. lights hear from the fire chief. >> we had a delay in our response. there was an incident down the street that's under investigation by volucia county sheriff's office homicide scene. second engine had to actually turn around and, you know, come from a different direction because the road was blocked by the incident. it was a delay in getting a water supply to the

fox 35's jackie orozco is live at the apartments with the new information. good morning. >> good morning, yes, sanford police say they've got one person in custody in connection with the double shooting, we are waiting to find out if he or she will be facing any charges. let's look at some video, all through the night and early in the morning, detectives were out here, in -- out his apartment complex, interviewing witnesses say around 10:30 last night. when they arrived they found a woman in her late 20s with a gunshot wound to her hand and another man also had gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene and we spoke with a next-door neighbor, right across from the apartment complex and she said that they heard loud noises and kids screaming in there and this is what she said: >> i have been here for three years now, and never, never -- nothing has happened, like this at all. i've never been so close to something like somebody getting shot next-door at all. and that is just weird. >> reporter: again, one person is in police custody right now and we a

fox 35's jackie orozco has the latest on what happened out there. good morning, jackie. >> reporter: good morning. firefighters say it was all because of a generator. they said that the apartment complex in question is undergoing renovation. a total of six people were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning. at the walden palms condominiums. a family of four at an apartment building, which is under renovation, drove themselves to the hospital when they felt sick. they received a call in reference of a gas leak. construction workers left a generator on which produced that gas and poisoned six people with carbon monoxide. the firefighters said two more hospital after they evacuated. the six people treated are expected to be okay. the firefighters wanted to thank the nurses who diagnosed the family and found out it was carbon monoxide poisoning because they were the decisions, and why they were made to evacuate. >> amy: the woman who sued casey anthony for defamation has bonded out of jail. >> john: she is charged with credit card fraud. >> reporter: they
