jackie sissel is live. to >> 23,000 nurses, 34 locations.reality, to difference rice hand to different issues. this one at kaiser involves 17,000 cna members. that is the california nurses association members who are staging what they call a one day sympathy strike for 4000 mental health and optical workers at kaiser. those optical and mental health workers are under contract negotiations now in this dna members say they are in support of those members and staging a sympathy walkout. this is at 22 locations around and california. this is one of the bigger ones in oakland. there are thousands more on strike and sutter and at children's hospital of oakland. those are also cna workers. they're calling that a primary strike. that is because they're currently under contract negotiations. all of these contract negotiations are about benefits, pensions, health care benefits, those are the primary issues in all of these. 23,000 nurses walked out today. is a huge deal. almost unprecedented to see this many workers on the picket line at once. >> you s
