let's get the latest from the scene with jackie sissel. >>jackie: the plan is, the department of public works hopes to get some equipment in here. the rock side is up this road in and around the corner, on the side of the condominium complex on the lombard street. it is very tight. they have to get specialized equipment and obviously the concern is they do not want to cause any more damage. let's take a look at video from yesterday with the geologists and engineers survey the site. the good news is they say the hell has stabilized. they did not see any cracking or new threats. they want to get in here with the equipment and take off those smaller rocks so that a larger boulders do not have a place to roll down. once they do that they can put the fencing, the protective netting back up around the condominium complex so that any further slides will not affect a complex. that is the hope right now. the hope is that possibly they could be out as early as 7:00 a.m.. that may or may not happen. that is predicated on the fact that they can get the

let's go to jackie sissel for nothing. >>jackie: most of the morning will have habit the fog has started to bertholf it has only taken about five hours. fog divisor has been in effect since very early this morning furious >>mark: and george have been watching the fog this morning and the slowdowns because of the falloff. >>george: the interesting things is despite the fog we still have not tried in the hot spots this morning although some of the slowest traffic is right here at the bay bridge, the drive times are running 18-20 minutes of the westbound right. because of the fog they have really slow the metering lights westbound. there is not a lot of movement right now. looking at your ride on the san mateo bridge, that has been a pretty good trip, definitely improving visibility as we can now make up traffic leaving the toll plaza and heading back towards hayward in the eastbound direction. it is the first time this morning that we have been able to see this far out. the theme at the golden gate bridge is an easy commute.

jackie sissel is live on the scene with an update. >>jackie: here is video, the police were called out, the call of a person down. they discovered one person, an adult male was injured. he did have stab wounds and was taken to san francisco general hospital where he was pronounced dead. crime scene investigators and homicide investigators were combing the area looking for clues. they are also asking for the public's health. they say they do not have any identification of for a potential suspect but they are looking for the public's help. obviously it is a developing story. >>darya: standards as the police are investigating a homicide. a missing 14 year- old hayward girl. this hayward girl is missing. that is her photo. she was last seen tuesday morning. her name is darlene. her parents last saw her at 7:00 a.m.. family members believe that she took a taxi to the hayward bart stations ahead to oakland. her last contact with a friend was at 10:30 a.m. that morning. she is 5 ft. 4 in., 100 lbs., curly black here with an olive complexion.
