joining me now is democratic congresswoman jackie spear of california. she is a member of the intel committee and heard stone's testimony this morning. congresswoman, thank you so much for joining us. i want to at first start with that sound byte we just heard from roger stone and what he might have been referred to that he said was innocuous. this was a tweet he send out august 21st of 2016. he said trust me, it will soon be in the podesta's time in the barrel. this came i believe just a couple of days or very shortly before wikileaks came out with john podesta's e-mails? >> that's right. he was trying to suggest that he didn't really know that the e-mails were going to be dropped when they were. that he was talking more generally about john poe testar, more specifically about his brother who has a lobbying firm unrelated to john podesta and was trying to merge the two. so it didn't make a lot of sense but that's the story that he is promoting at this point in time. >> he says he doesn't think members of the committee are going to buy his claims. do you

. >> congresswoman jackie spear was there and you were able to ask questions of roger stoene, right?hat was your take away? >> he was very responsible and answered the questions with the exception of one big question. the in between confidant was who was able to confirm when julian assange was going to release the e-mails. outside of that he was pretty cooperative. he gets kudos for doing that. what we don't know is what kinds of e-mails, facebooks and twitters he said there was nothing anything. that's hard to believe when you are engaged in a campaign. i will say he is truly off base suggesting it was an inside job that hacked the dnc. we had 17 agencies that know with great certitude that it was done by the russians. we know that gusifer 2.0 was a russian operative. unless he sees the classified information, he will continue the fantasy that he weaved in that regard. there was indication he was in touch. at one point he denied and the founder of wikileaks. do you believe he had a hand and what did you learn today? that could indicate that it may be difficult to prove. do you think

joining us now to talk about this is democratic congresswoman jackie spear. member of a house intel committee and armed services committees. >> great to be with you. >> so don trump jr. met with investigators in the senate judiciary committee about this meeting. that he had agreed to during the campaign with this russian lawyer and why he would agree to meet with the russians. he had previously said and e-mail showed he thought it was to get dirt on hillary clinton. he put out in his prepare statement that the "new york times" got ahold of. to the extent they had information concerning the fitness, character or qualifications of a presidential candidate i believed i should at least hear them out. what do you think what was learned? >> i think we still have more questions to be asked. for the longest time we didn't know this meeting took place. this was the first concrete evidence made public that there was an attempt at collusion or coordination, and there was a willingness on the part of the trump campaign and part of his inner circle, his son, to work with

meanwhile, chris koons of delaware, and jackie spears, a democrat from california, and ken delaney, it to start with ken here, our guy here, the subject of the investigation, the michael flynn, the younger now involved in what. why is he joining this mess? >> well, chris, the subject of the investigation means that the prosecutors in the grand jury suspect you may have committed a crime but they need more information to find out. so it's more serious as being a witness, but not as serious as being a target which means you're about to be indicted. michael flynn, the father, appears to be facing jeopardy regarding his involvements in turkey and the failure to disclose items on his security clearance application. and mike flynn, his son, was his right-hand man, the chief of staff, executive assistant, involved in filling out forms so that makes flynn's, the special counsel's interest in him, important. if flynn wants to look at the involvement in collusion, investigating his son is another way to put pressure on mike flynn, the former national security adviser. >> tell me how a criminal

molly fishman with congresswoman jackie spears's office. you talked about the need for getting people to have -- everyone to have insurance, willse you never know what happen. and you also talked about the eeds of insurance at different ages in your life. how would you reconcile that you can not s -- predict when you need insurance, cannot predict what in insurance or u -- you could be 23 and get cancer in an accident. my understanding is that that coverage king of what goes into plans makes it more expensive. ow do you see a way to reconcile the two things you talk about. state, we have a robust insurance market. passed in washington, it made us less competitive. that's a problem. choice, just like, you are a federal employee, you get choice. you pick what works for you. and the key is that you pick something. why we're back to this word comprehensive. if you are a 23-year-old woman, maternitywant to have coverage. if you are a 23-year-old man, you might not. need. think about what you if you are 23, 24 years old, if catastrophic coverage,
