. >> reporter: inside the hearing room, one survivor, congressman jackie speier of california. she was one of five democratic lawmakers who have had similar experiences with domestic abuse asking to delay tomorrow's vote. she shared her thoughts on today's hearing, proud of dr. blasey ford and concerned about judge kavanaugh's performance. >> this is a man enraged. this is a man who does not suggest that he has a judicial temperament. he is angry and hostile and combative. and we don't see that in judges. i worry about his ability to handle a case that dealt with anything that was women-related without having it come to him. >> reporter: while the vote is still scheduled to happen tomorrow, i caught up with senator elizabeth warren of massachusetts. she shared some of the same sentiments of speier but was encouraged by the turnout by supporters of the women who have come forward with sexual allegations. >> it's people of conscience that are here to make sure that congress knows how people across this country feel. they're here. look at what they have to say. they're here to say

i spoke to jackie speier and this morning caught up with a bay area committeewoman for the rnc to get their reactions to the testimony. >> dr. ford did an extraordinary job as a witness. she was very compelling. is and she was very specific about the actual event. and she gained i think extraordinary credibility. >> while the morning started out strong for dr. ford, by the ends of the day, every republican i know was firmly on the side of judge kavanaugh. and i suspect a couple of democrats will join in supporting his confirmation. >> reporter: back out here live, a full vote for confirmation could happen as early as tuesday. reggie and jessica, back to you. >> dion, no matter what side you believe, the hearing was emotionally heavy for both sides. what's the feeling like in washington this morning? >> reporter: yeah. as you can imagine, no matter where you turn, every single person has an opinion. even this morning going down the elevator where we were staying at, every person you run into has something to say. especially after that vote happens you can imagine what they have to say

with the chair of the san francisco round table, and we've worked diligently with congress woman jackie speier. this is something that's near and dear to her office. we've worked with senator pelosi's office, we've reached out to senator feinstein. it's very easy to think about adjusting flight patterns and spending a tiny bit more money and going up and over san francisco rather than right area. other areas of the bay are impacted by landings, as well. oakland airport has been diverting flights over our city, and so people's -- people's sanity is at stake, as well as their essential quality of life. so i want to have that hearing. i'm calling for that hearing to be done at the land use and transportation committee. i'd like it to be a joint hearing with the san francisco airport commission. i'd like them to be invited to participate in this. i'd like it to be open to all the different districts, and i know that supervisor cohen had expressed concern about this. she's heard from her constituents about this. i've heard from constituents of supervisor yee and supervisor tang. any other folks tha
