. >> good morning, allison, steve, those two female law makers in congressman jackie speir from california and virginia representative virginia comstock and during this harassment hearing yesterday both basically revealed that they are aware of sexual misconduct going on here on capitol hill and according to lawmakers they are sitting members of congress. congress woman speir says the cases she know involve a democrat and republican engaging ranging from exposing again tallies to victims and having private parts grabbed on house floor. she will not be revealing names because victims signed non disclosure forms. we may never know who these people are. during this hearing we learned about a fund that let's members of congress settle these on the down low basically in secret on taxpayer dime. we foe from 1997 to 2014, 15 million was paid out to 235 people involving workplace violations unincluding sexual harassment and basically this protects accused and makes identity confidential. barbara comstock shared a story about a young staffer who was sexually harassed by her boss. take a listen. >>
