jackie ward is joining us live from san francisco with the latest. what's it looking like out there? >> neda is definitely starting to pick up a bit with the rain amount. you can see from this puddle that i'm standing in that we had a significant amount of rainfall fall overnight as neda just mentioned. and the winds let's take a look at that light right there is swirling around all sorts of moisture. we are at 17th and folsom in the upper part of the mission and this is one of the top three most prone areas in san francisco that will get flooding so we come here for big storms. these businesses have big plastic bers years that go across garage store bays so the sandbags are out here now. so the san francisco public utilities commission is well aware that this is a terrible area for flooding and they have a $200 million project in the works right now to put in a 3500-foot tunnel that's 12 feet wide underground to help with all the storm water so storm water and sewage in sewage in san francisco is checked in the system so it's important they keep the
