hugh jackman is here tonight. i'm such a fan of hugh jackman.season of "snl," hugh hosted. he was an incredible host. and we did a sketch together. i wrote this sketch where we play two italian fashion photographers who had since fallen from grace and were taking photos of families in sears. [ laughter ] and it was one of the first sketches that i had written and made it on the show. my mom loved it and she asked me for a picture of it. and so, i framed it for her and she hung it in her bathroom. and it's a picture of me and hugh jackman. she goes, "this will always be the space for whatever my favorite sketch of yours is." and then did i the show for 12 and a half years and she never replaced it. [ laughter ] and i'm realizing she never really was about the sketch. she just wanted a picture of hugh jackman. so, i figured her out. also, my mom was here on monday with my father. and my mom broke her shoulder, and she's been doing a lot of rehabilitation, and she's been very proud of her rehabilitation. and she was in the crowd. and so i asked the

the tony awards, and hugh jackman hopped his way through the entire opening number. i got tired for him. jackman took back the role from four-time host neil patrick harris, who he ran into in the elevator, but harris had another role to play in last night's show, and it was not a bad one. >> and the tony award goes to neil patrick harris. >> harris won for his role in "hedge wig and angry inch" winning best musical revival, and another memory is winning for the lead role in all the way, and he bid out well-known actors like denzel washington who was not nominated for his role in the best play revival, a raisin in the sun. the biggest award went to the musical with the most overall nominations. >> and the tony award goes to "a gentleman's guide to love and murder." >> wow, winning best new musical. the other top awards, jessi mueller won best actress in a musical and carol king in beautiful, and mcdomds took home a record sixth tony for her role at lady day at emerson's bar and grill. congratulations to her. i think she made history last night. still ahead, lebron jam
