this line here, see it, just west of jack son, mississippi -- jackson, mississippi. those are thunderstorms with isolated pockets of weather. no thunderstorms for us when this system gets in. high pressure dominated the mountain west there and another storm system that will crash into the pacific northwest over the next 24 to 36 hours. this is futurecast. tonight at 11:00, we have clear skies. quickly those clouds come in and thicken up. this is tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. again, if you aring into the office tomorrow, you know, you get there dry, at least that's the way it's looking now. then the rain quickly comes in and it looks like it's not just showers. once it gets in here, it's full on rain tomorrow and it's wet out there. we are talking rainfall totals maybe 1/2 inch to some places could be right up around an inch or so. look at the oranges here or painting a red. that is heavy rain coming through. quickly it's out of here by 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 we are drying out. look at the snow out to the west and the cold air. it's not going to come across the mountains.

jackson, mississippi at 28 degrees. it's a good large pool of cold air. that is pretty much where that storm track was locking all the stuff to the south. now high pressure is provided that protective dome and clear skies and chilly air. we're staying on the cool side though we miss out on the coldness of this air. we'll get that warming trend as we head in towards the weekend. the winld flow and return flow around that same weather pattern is going to provide us with a nice return over the next couple of days. by the way, out west there's a storm track, you can see the snow from wisconsin and through eastern sections of colorado. this goes back through utah and southern california. record high pressure from canada, and this storm system all helping to funnel in strong santa ana winds. they were expecting 60 to 80 mile-per-hour winds across the l.a. basin and it has fire warnings because of that dry air that gets pushed down from the mountains and problems to prevail. by the way, i mention that because that eventually will shift east in a weakened form an
