jaclyn stone bought a refrigerator from sears three years ago. and recently stopped working.since the fridge was still under warranty, jacqueline called sears and scheduled a service appointment but says the repair person didn't show up. so she scheduled another appointment and again, a no show. at this point two weeks later, jaclyn says her refrigerator was full of mold so she called sears and asked to replace it. the company said no. pointing to her warranty that requires four service attempts. jacqueline argued the refrigerator was unsafe because of the mold which would not have been a problem if the original call had been answered sears wouldn't budge until we called and said it requires four service attempts after we called, sears changed its mind. it said it's going to go ahead and replace that refrigerator plus pay $250 to cover the cost of lost food and medicine. a savings of $2700. in the statement, sears says it regrets the delay the service and hopes that jaclyn will remain a loyal sears customer. if you have a consumer complaint the number 888-996-tips or visit nb
