jacob rees—mogg inevitably ending the week in parliament. thanks for watching. back on february 22 when we expect to be hearing from the prime minister about the roadmap to ease lockdown in england. until then, from me, david cornock, bye for now. hello there. for much of the country, this weekend is going to be bitterly cold. that's because of very low temperatures and very strong winds. by the end of the weekend, though, through the second half of sunday, it looks like milder air will arrive across more western areas. but we start today off on a bright, very cold note further east. some disruptive snow for northern ireland initially. that snow pushes into western scotland, wales and the south west of england. later in the day, it begins to peter out. stays dry across eastern areas. but with the strong winds and these very low temperatures, it's going to feel bitterly, bitingly cold, with feels—like temperatures more subzero right across the board. new tangle of weather fronts push in on sunday to bring outbreaks of rain, and we'll start to see that milder air
