jacob soboroff, what do you have? >> on the way to maine, i ran into a former senator gordon humphrey. he's a part of this movement. senator humphrey, the colorado delegation has vacated their seats and walked out. what's your reaction to that? >> i think it's more than justified. i sought to be recognized to raise a point of parliamentary inquiry and was immediately drowned out by people i would refer to as brown shirts around in my surroundings. >> as a member, a former member of the u.s. senate, is this how this procedure is supposed to work? we're being governed by the rules of the house of representatives. is this fair? is this right? >> well, you just saw the motion -- second most important item of business rushed through in a split second with no opportunity for debate. no opportunity for questions. no opportunity for points of order. and no roll call vote, although, nine states under the rules, requested a roll call vote and demanded a roll call vote and should have been accorded that. pretty shocking and sham

jacob soboroff is at the convention. this is changing by the minute. what's the latest? >> so right now what's happening is the credentials and the platform committees are filing their reports on the stage right now. the governor haley barbour is on the stage right now. and he is doing one of those reports. the next report up is the rules committ committee. there are eight states and the district of columbia who have filed a petition to throw ought the rules approved last week. they think they can still stop donald trump from becoming the republican nominee by filing what's called, or by holding what's called a roll call on the rules of all of the delegates on the floor right now. we're in the most crucial spot possible for that because we are standing in the middle of the colorado delegation. this gentleman's name is randy. he's one of the members of the delegation. you all recommend kendall hunter. what they hope happen is once the call goes up for the rules committee that these microphones turn on. that's at the discretion of the chair, right, of reince priebus. so yo

jacob soboroff has been talking to some of the delegates. what have they been telling you? >> i'm here with a delegate from the great state of texas. everybody is on their way in even though it did you waoesn't until tonight. did you do that chant? >> i did. i took part of it. >> you think this is too much of a focus on hillary clinton and not enough on donald trump? >> i think it's a great balance. i think the goal was to really educate people that it's more than just these e-mails that there's so much more that her lying isn't just something small and specific, but it goes back in history. i think he was just trying to let the people know and let those people sitting on the couches at home know this isn't the lady for this country. she has been lying for years. it's not just something she's lying about now. >> senator from your state ted cruz is speaking tonight. today you went to a thank you barbecue for ted cruz. do you expect cruz to endorse donald trump? >> i would hope he would endorse him. i think as any elected republican official, it's time to get behind and back

jacob soboroff spoke to some of the delegates.ersations, i'm going to ask you what we were talking about before. i'm trying to figure out if you're a stop trump person, short of stopping trump, what deal could you be offered that you could say okay, fine, i'm going home? >> it's a big question, chris. i want to take you with me where not many other media organizations have been before. we're not allowed actually into the rules committee meeting room. but we are allowed in a very trump anyway on the escalator here. what we are hearing is that the type of deal that someone like kendall onra, chair of the stop trump movement, the free the delegates organization, could strike would be something that would potentially allow a vote, while still insisting that donald trump somehow would become the nominee. whether or not that's the case, whether or not that's possible, i'm not sure. but how feels about the possibility of this happening and whether or not she has the votes, i asked her exclusively on her way in here this morning. take a l
