(jr stone) in east palo alto. one person has diedand three people were injured in a crash. authorities repsonded to a two-vehicle crash yesterday afternoon on university avenue. there police found two people trapped in a severely damaged ford mustang. the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. emergency crews were able to remove the passenger of the carand she was taken to the hospital. two people in the other vehicle involved in the crash were taken to the hospital. there conditions are unknown tonight. university avenue was closed earlier today while crews worked the area...but has since been re-opened.
