jadiann thompson, >> kim: following more breaking news here at 6:00. a police officer on detail stopped an attempted bank robbery in west roxbury then chases down and catches the suspect. big day. jonathan hall now joins us from the city of boston credit union. there he is. so that is where it happened. it sounds like they solved it all, got the guy. what can you tell us? >> reporter: they did. kim, we're right in front of the bank. this is the city of boston take a step forward because there is a car trying to get through. there was a robbery here just before 4:00, employees left here without commenting on the crime here today. police say just before 4:00 pm a masked gunman came in here to pull off a bank heist. when he didn't know is there was a police officer stationed here almost everyday on detail. so witnesses say a female boston police officer inside the bank noticed what was going on, interrupted t attempting bank heist and chased down the suspect. sky 7 was overhead. there was a foot chase and although the facts aren't entirely clear, there may have been a second suspect arrested
