[ applause ] >> congratulations. >> thank you. >> i say thank you, thank you for those words. and mark. and it is funny to be here because when we went through high school, i thought that i had nothing, or anything to do with school but somehow it finds you and you find your pathway. and you know everything that i have tried to do, you know, i always look at it as i am there to help, and i think that everybody that has come before me that has taught me. to be who i'm have had great teachers and mentors that have kind of taught me to be rooted in the community i have always wanted to walk with my head high, and i have been helping family and people here in the community of san francisco, born and raised in the commission district and getting the good honor for the families telling me that i helped their child, sometimes, but sometimes it is just here and sometimes it is you know, good advice and sometimes it is you know connecting them with something that helped them out. so, like i s
