i was with jake sherman.d associates he may be thinking about retiring. we thought we might hang out and see what happens. usually boehner when he comes out of his office goes towards his caravan and doesn't take questions. he took questions from us. he brought us over to this little area and said for me to stand right where the pope stood and reenacted this whole scene as if he was trying to saver the moment while the memory was still fresh. >> he described to you where he said that the pope said pray for me to the speaker. >> it was. boehner standing inches from me kept repeating this. he said please pray for me. he kept saying it as if he was saying it to us and no one in particular. he seemed to be a man at a peace. we heard these resignation rumors, but this was a a different boehner i saw up close tonight. a a boehner who was more lively and at peace surrounded by the house and he seemed to think that the pope's visit was the capstone to this career, the pinnacle of sorts for a a devout roman catholic.
