james comey, by the way, i know most of you in the media love james comey. james comey has a lot of questions to be asked. needs things to be accountable for. if an exoneration took place for political purposes before an investigation, that will be ara federal crime. also, look at the law, violating 18 usc 371, when he signed off on a fisa warrant, the first fisa warrant, that was in october of 2016, just before the election, to spy on a trump campaign associate, carter page, the warrant, we are told, was based on the phony dossier, according to the nunes-grassley-graham memos. fisa judges, they were never toldud that hillary clinton paid for that dossier with russian lies, that they were tainted, that they were never verified, that they were t unverifiable, because the author of the dossier, well, in an interrogatory in great britain, he said he had no idea if any of this was true. that would be committing a fraud on the fisa court, not telling the judges she paid for it, not being able to verify what they presented before the fisa court judges, as well as,

of june of 2018, more than 880,000 pages of discovery, that that can somehow be a true beatable james comey is -- be comey isble to james insupportable. those documents were provided after james comey was fired, and for the department of justice to suggest it is his doing really undermines confidence in the department. it also frankly underscores just how much james comey had, his firing had to do with russia, and how little it had to do with the discovery or statements or information he provided in the clinton email investigations. in june of last year, i was notified in writing by the department, the director of the fbi testified in open session around that time as well, that in response to subpoenas that all postdated james comey leaving the bureau, they provided those 880,000 documents, and the discovery was ongoing. i but imagine the discovery is probably well over one million pages at this point. so this is not something the department can lay at the feet of james comey. it is, i would hope, a decision the department made because they felt public interest demanded it, and that outweig

this isn't something the department currently at the feet of james comey. it is, i would hope a decision the department made for the last two years because of the public interest demanded it, and that outweighed normal policy of not providing information in investigation for people or not indicted. to maintain that that is ironclad policy, well, the department will have to explain that to peter strzok and lisa paige and hillary clinton and bruce ohr and the countless other individuals about whom the department provided discovery and have not been the subject of indictment. but to make the claim also that providing the underlying materials might affect the ongoing investigation cannot be used to prohibit wholesale discovery because of course the justice department did provide documents in the ongoing investigation and cleaning for sensitive documents like the fisa applications. that was not a bar to the department providing information to the congress. but there's another compelling reason why the justice department needs not want to give the report to the p
