and i'm james fletcher.e we're on high alert as protesters took to the streets for a fourth straight night following the acquittal of george zimmerman. in oakland, police outnumbered the protesters after falling under scrutiny for being unprepared following saturdays verdict. police handed out tickets and made one arrest, a much different scene from monday nights rallies. dozens of officers were stationed at oakland's city hall in full riot gear. crews were ready to step in when a small group of protestors confronted police. >>james: a toddler in oakland is still missing. and her family says more needs to be done to find her. daphne webb's father says she was kidnapped from his car which was parked outside an east oakland convenient store one week ago. there have been searches for the little girl and new information about her parents. kron 4's terisa estacio talked to daphne's family today. >>terisa:surrounded by family and friends holding signs and pictures of the reported kidnapped toddler, daphne webb, he

i'm james fletcher. the day we have been anticipating is finally here. the bart strike is now over. union and bart officials emerged from negotiations just before 11 last night. california's secretary of labor, marty morgenstern made the announcement. bart management and unions agreed to extend the existing contract for 30 days. during that time negotiations will continue until there is an agreement for a new contract. this will keep the trains running until at least august 4th. bart service will be completely restored by 3 p-m today. that means the morning commute will still be without bart. bart will be running seven charter busses from five different locations in the east bay. but by the time the evening commute comes, things should be back to normal. and bart released this statement from general manager grace crunican. it reads, "unfortunately the issues that brought us to this point remain unresolved. despite lots of hard work, bart and its unions have failed to come to an agreement on contract issues. we still have a wide gap of disagreements to bridge over the next 30 days. w

and i'm james fletcher. crowds of protesters are breaking storefront windows and clashing with police in downtown oakland this morning after hundreds of protesters gathered in response to the acquittal of george zimmerman. this is video of the protests from our helicopter partnership with a-b-c seven news. oakland police attempted to redirect the crowd of at least 250 protesters when they began lighting off fireworks and smashing glass windows on telegraph avenue. the protests briefly blocked traffic on interstate 880. so far, nine people have been arrested. the rally began last night around six at the frank ogawa plaza. here is what one protester had to say during that rally. late last night protesters attempted to stop traffic on interstate 580 but were blocked by police. other confrontations between protesters and police happened throughout oakland, including at the courthouse and downtown. one of the six women who found george zimmerman "not guilty" has decided to come forward to explain how the jury cam

good morning i'm james fletcher. and i'm anny hong. thanks for joining us on this wednesday july 10th. we continue to follow the latest with the deadly crash landing at s-f-o that happened over the weekend. we are learning critical new details about what may have caused saturday's deadly plane crash at s-f-o. the n-t-s-b interviewed all four pilots who were on the plane. 3 of those pilots were actually in the cockpit at the time of crash.. kron 4's charles clifford reports. according to the ntsb, the pilot controlling asiana flight 214 was making his first landing attempt in a boeing 777 at s-f-o. he was controlling the plane from the left hand seat in the cockpit. the training pilot, who was assisting with the landing, was in the right hand seat, there was also a relief first officer in the cockpit jump seat and a fourth pilot seated in the plane's cabin. according to the ntsb, the training pilot says that as the plane descended towards runway 2-8 left, the crew set the planes auto throttle to the required airspeed. >> he set the auto
