well, james reynolds has been following the story in istanbul as some are finding ways around the twitter ban. >> reporter: anybody who is technologically savi enough to get on twitter in the first place is technologically savi enough to work their way around this ban. i have received dozens of suggestions in recent hours about how to avoid the ban. they are very, very simple to activate. the ban is not effective because everyone on twitter has simply gone around it. >> just sum up where he is, why he is falling back on these steps. >> everyone and his government say there have been alleged recordings which may even be faked recordings. they say several times to take those recordings down from the blogging site. they say they had to block twitter. the prime minister, though, stepping back, may have he's still in a strong position because of one point. his con stitch went seu, his coalition, the one that brought him to power are not twitter users. he might still think he has his co constituency with them. >>> the missing plane on the line from perth is a local journalist who was one of tho

we have heard from james reynolds.what do you think, though, is going on here with the prpl's office? it shows a certain level of panic? >> well, you have to be reminded that the government and the prime minister are not operating under a normal political environment. you can see that the president's reactions on twitter as well. the president said it is impossible to ban it completely, which shows why i was able to access it. elections are coming up. they tie into the first presidential elections and a national election. you have a movement that holds key positions in government. and there's this big war going on for the movement. it has completely gone out of the window. it is a new political match going on. it is happening in a very unorthodox way. it has also been quite strange. it's been extremely vicious and extremely polarizing. and i think because of that it let an overall atmosphere of hysteria. >> we have heard that the president has possibly sent a tweet toe denounce the prime minister's actions. have you se

the bbc's james reynolds is there. >> this is the main government headquarters in donetsk.ilding has been the center of protests and counterprotests in recent days. pro-russian demonstrators came here and they swept their way in. they even raised the russian flag. but they have now been kicked out. the building has been retaken by ukraine's authorities. as you can tell by this line of riot police standing and guarding the building. the line is reasonably thinly spaced at the moment. but it is two offices deep. there aren't any pro-russian demonstrators here at the moment. just as a precaution, have a look and you'll see two trucks guarding the entrance. the deputy mayor of this city told the bbc he thinks a referendum may be a chance to calm tensions to give a chance to decide its own statutes. there is still a lot of skepticism by the aims of the authorities in kiev. for now these offices have their orders. they won't let anyone through. >> that's the scene in eastern ukraine. let's now go to the capital in the north of the country to kiev and the bbc's sarah rainsford. yo

reynolds you are getting called out. we are getting through pretty quick. is there any public comment on this item? >> i have one speaker card from oscar james. >> oscar james again, rerequired to redevelopment agency employee. that was one of the projects that i worked under shore view park. when we worked on the shore view park, there were a lot of conditions that were dangerous to the community. they had ring worms in the sand pit. we blocked them off. they are gate now. i know one time the redevelopment agency was talking about redoing the whole project. if you turn the water on now, it would leak under the ground under the concrete bench. i talked with ms. bowie before about that particular issue. but the whole park needs to be redone. there is no agency, city, state or anybody else or even that project area is going to take that park over the way it is. really commissioners you should go and see that park and see what a danger it is to the residents especially the kids. that's always been our concern. that fence has been up for over 20 years and nothing has happened. the wing worms are still there and young people are going there in th
