march is under way, protesters heading towards the israeli embassy in london. 0ur correspondent, james waterhouseark. 0n the corner there, on marble arch, which is usually such a busy trafficjunction, cars are brought to the halt in some lanes as thousands of protesters came out with palestinian flags, donning banners as well. they are, essentially, calling on israel to stop its air strikes along the gaza strip and other palestinian territories in a week which has seen tensions rise to levels we haven't seen in years in a conflict that has lasted decades. they're now flooding down this lane, through hyde park, to the mile or so in kensington to the israeli embassy, where they're going to demonstrate as close as possible, we understand, and call for israel to end its operations, as well as for the uk government to intervene. as you can see, there are people of allages, generations, here who have come out this morning. as we speak, and as these people come down, us negotiators are in the middle east to call on both sides to de—escalate. but the feeling here, and there is a lot of passion here, the
