last night, i had a productive session speaking to the order of jamestown, that uses our parks in partnership during our program. it was very encouraging, very well attended, and i think enthusiastically received. it was really a public/private partnership, and they were appealing to their constituents for support, and many city elected officials were there, and it was encouraging to see that people were recognizing that in these times of budget shortfall that public/private partnerships with a free park uses -- appropriate part uses seem very appropriate, at least in those quarters. i'm going to ask commissioner harris said in a minute to weigh in on the event last night which i could not attend, but i understand you were there, so i welcome that. notice we are meeting at 10:00 in the morning. that is not to be an inconvenience to the public. the fact is that the president of the board of supervisors restructured their committee hearing scheduled, and our regularly scheduled to o'clock p.m. meetings conflicted with his new schedule, so therefore, we would not have been televised, and there h

this happened around 3:00 this morning as police were checking out a suspicious vehicle stolen near jamestown. three suspects drove off. officials tell us that's when the car chase started ending near oakdale and baldwin where the suspect crashed just outside a building. officials say the suspects got out of the car and ran off which led to a foot pursuit. it was during that foot pursuit that up with of the officers suffered minor injuries. we know three suspects still at large. still no description on the suspects, but it's still a very active scene wrap the suspect vehicle crashed. that's at the intersection of oakdale and baldwin. one san francisco police officer in the hospital right now. he's at san francisco general but we're told he's expected to be okay. back to you. >>> the barry bonds trial we have been talking about for years finally starts in a couple of hours. good morning. >> reporter: the jury selection is starting here at the federal courthouse this morning at 8:30. this whole thing could lead to possible prison time and a felony conviction for barry bonds. let's recap how we
