the city crews here at heath and jamestown working to remove the asphalt they put down earlier that wasupposed to divert the water that was gushing down for four hours. the actual break happened at about a block up at keith and keys. they were able to block that at around 4:00 this morning. that they're able to do this work means the water isn't flowing much anymore. i want to show you some of the video that was mostly on carr street. homeowners put on the gloves and boots to sweep out of water, which we're told was as high as a foot or more. at first it was believed up to 25 homes were flooded. turns out there's more like six or seven. luckily many of the homes were were above grade. one car did fall into a sinkhole. we spoke to a neighbor this morning who described the mess. >> your garage and belongings and homes are flooded. we feel bad for the homeowners and apologize for the inconvenience. we're going to do everything they can to make sure they're hole and they can get their property cleaned up to move on with their lives. >> and they will pay for a contractor to come for the clea
