news 4's jamie hayden has more. hi, jaydon. >> we want people to be inform of the dangers. >> reporter: the truckie river in r,no peaked 8 feet saturday morning, about 0 feet below floodstage, according to the national weather service. serena police were out along the truckie river corridor, remaineding the homeless population of the dangers of camping along the base. >> we don't want to see people in the river, because the flow rate is very dangerous. water is very cold, and it does for people to become hypothermic. the firearm runs an excellent rescue team. that's the focus for our education. >> reporter: the river peaked at 3200 cube, feet per second saturday morning, the strongest flow in more than three years. >> we don't want to see anybody get injured. >> reporter: lieutenant shaw said it's illegal to camp within 300 feet of the river. and he said the goal of saturday's out reach, to not only inform the homeless population about the increase of water levels; but what options are available to them. >> the comm
