jan: i don't think we are at the end of the expansion. inflation is below.nd side, we are getting a boost. i think that contributes something like 3% on the percentage point. clearly we are moving into a labor shortage environment. i don't think we are far beyond full employment. we are still at a point where in fed can be fairly gradual normalizing monetary policy, so they are very much locked in the near-term on a once per quarter kind of hiking schedule. 2019, 2020,nto late the risk of recession goes up because we are losing the fiscal boost and in terms of the amount of slack, i think we will probably be more clearly on for employment. we have the unemployment rate at 3.25% at the end of 2019 and inflation somewhat above the target. at that point, i think it will require a nimble monetary policy to achieve a soft landing in 2020, 2021. i think the risk of a recession goes up at that horizon. ed: we know president trump likes to take credit for the low unemployment rate. he does a lot that concerns economists. nafta, trade tariff stuff, even pulling out o
