the new governor doocy is even more to the right than governor jan brewer. he has just increased his budget for the private prisons in arizona and pretty much decimated the university budgets, so you sort of get a mentality from there. the only thing specifically that's happened with immigration since he's been in office is the dreamer -- you know, the daca kids deferred action for childhood arrivals, where these kids who were brought here as children and graduated from high school, they get this permission to stay for two years. in every state except for arizona and nebraska, the state governments have accepted that as they have permission to stay, and they issue them state driver's license. so brewer just fought and fought and fought that, that's the previous governor, denied the licenses to dreamers who are not here legally, you know, this is not permission to stay. and she kept losing in the courts. and eventually they did start getting the licenses just a few months ago but now the state has appealed, and doocy said he is going to continue that appeal t
