"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us now at 30th street station, just long day and night ofthem. good morning jan. >> reporter: good morning absolutely long and unnerving day for these philadelphia rail riders, now that train that derailed in north carolina, was actually supposed to pull into 30th street station around 7:00 last night. these passengers actually didn't arrive in philadelphia until right around midnight. take a look at the video, we caught up with couple of these passengers as they arrive home. two late night trains one arrived at one 1:00 another midnight. passengers were tired shaken up. and that's because around noon their amtrak train operating from charlotte collided with a big rig stalled on the tracks in halifax. the collision toppled the engine derailed some cars, the impact also injured dozen of people, at least 40 of them thankfully, no one was seriously injured. >> l crew members and that included jackman from malvern in the cafe car during the collision. he said it turned out to be the first car left standing on the tracks. take a listen. >> it was
