"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo, live at the montgomery county courthouse in norristown, jan? >> reporter: rahel, jim, good morning, the big question out here in norristown today is will former attorney general of pennsylvania kathleen kane get prison time, house rest or probation. her and her attorneys are hoping for leniency, and they've certainly asked for as much. take a look at the video, kathleen kane is hoping the judge will grant her probation or house arrest, so she can be at home to raise her two teenage sons. kane argues that the loss of her career, law license, and reputation, are more than enough. but prosecutors call her crimes aggregious, and they're pushing for jail time. now this all comes after kane was convicted this summer on all nine counts of perjury and obstruction of justice. during the trial, the prosecution told the story of an attorney general's fall from grace. at first, attorney general kane enjoyed mostly positive press, as she supported gay marriage, and ramped up the child preditor unit. but soon that changed. top deputies and seasoned prosecuto

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us live now from collingdale. jan? >> brooke, jim, good morning, more on the tip in just a minute. see liver on scene this morning, that collingdale police have this home secured, and they had remained on the scene for hours, and now, just arriving to this home, that state police and the state chemist, because, as you mentioned, here on the 1200 block of mcdade boulevard, police do suspect that this house could be a possible drug lab. now, this investigation started when a police officer from a neighboring community, was alerted about a person acting suspiciously at nearby cvs. that man ran from the store, and collingdale police then alerted. they saw him go into this home and questioned. and when officers pursued, they were met at the door by a woman who confirmed the man indeed was inside. when officers went in, that's when they noticed some suspicious items. they thought it could be a drug lab, back out, secure the property, again all discovered again by a cop being at the right place at the right time. take a liste

. >>> good morning, i'm jan carabeo, a juniata man is in stable condition in the hospital, right now,ers, during a confrontation, in juniata. police say the man was inside home on elsemore street armed with a knife and suicidal, violent, possibly drunk. officials say he was shot when he threatened officers with that knife. police are investigating the incident. >> let's get over to katie with a look at our eyewitness weather forecast, hi, katie. >> good morning to you, jan. expect to go see nice bright sunny day unfold already. the light of day popping over the horizon, and we barely even see cloud out there at this point. of course we did have cold front cross through, "skycam 3", though, that cleared out pretty quickly obviously, wind picking up in the wake of the cold front. right now it is out of the northwest 13 miles per hour, and the temperatures currently in the 50's, so not terribly chilly but won't rebound much from this, at least not today. rebound however this weekend, watch for shower late in the day sunday and then another cool down for halloween. >> looking great, katie
