live from the newsroom, i'm jane miller, wbal tv 11 news. trex a new development in the trial of a 17-year-old accused of shooting a 5-year-old girl last summer. there cromwell's senior identified lamont davis as the shooter. an arrest warrant was issued for davis' girlfriend. she was testified -- slated to testify today, but never showed up. she was reprimanded in court yesterday. >> a gunman killed a 72-year-old man inside a chinese carryout. shots were fired around 12:30 p.m. this morning. the victim was on his way to work. >> police and the victims' families are calling this a senseless crime. police say that a 72-year-old man was just trying to get some food from a chinese take-out while two men entered and shot and killed him. this particular carryout restaurant is no stranger to violent crime. late thursday morning, 19 baltimore city detectives canvassed the neighborhood where 72-year-old charles polman was shot and killed. this as his family tries to figure out why. -- 72-year-old -bowman was shot and killed. his stepdaughter was the

jane: dade lee miller has the details. who is this guy and what exactly is he accused of?alking about 25-year-old ahmed hah sane abed, he is am immigrant from afghanistan, and it is expected he's going to plead guilty in one hour and 15 minutes' time to a number of charges not the least of which is planning to blow up the new york city subway system. according to authorities, he was working with-and-a-halfy bull zazi, another defendant who has pled guilty. allegedly, the two men were planning to blow up subway trains coming to or from new york's time square as well as grand central station. they were planning to blow themselves up in the center carriage to cause the greatest amount of damage and, jane, it is very likely that we're going to see this guilty plea in just a little more than one hour's time because zazi has decided to plead guilty. jane: he's also said to have other accomplices, what's going on with that? >> reporter: there is a third man who has pled not guilt to all of these same charges, and we have no indication at this time that, in fact, he is going to ch
