jane velez-mitchell, host of jane velez-mitchell, and jim p erktremeau, reporter in atlanta. is it obvious that she's helping to daughter, and did she do so in the process of her testimony? >> i think in my opinion, her computer testimony is a desperate attempt to try to save her daughter's life. unfortunately, she was shut down with the facts. she could not have been at home making the surfaces when the surfaces were made. it's a real bonus for the prosecution because if cindy anthony, somebody would go to that length to actually lie about making the computer searches, if she actually knew that her husband george was a cheater and a child molesser, she would have been screaming on that stand, she would have swore up and down about it. she didn't do that because it's not true. >> jane i have to ask you because i'm sure other people had interactions with themering but you had a close interaction with cindy and i believe other members of the family on an elevator, and you drew your own assessment from that, talk to me about it. >> i saw them get into the elevator, i got in with

my panel is holly hughes, jim clemente who serves as an adviser to criminal minds, jane velez-mitchell of "issues" with jane velez-mitchell on hln, and also drew petrimoulx. to my guests here in atlanta first. first, her not testifying, is it a done deal, holly? >> it is a done deal because what happened is we all know the prosecution has the burden of proof. defense doesn't have to do a thing, but jose baez said i'll show you evidence. there's hard and fast evidence casey was molested by her father george, by her brother, lee. and by the way, this child was never missing. she drowned in the family's swimming pool on june 16th. they didn't do any of that. there's no evidence, and the order that is entered in every criminal case in the state of florida from the judgeb said that you cannot argue in closing arguments anything that is not presented to the jury. if there is no evidence of it, you can't argue it. so, you know, her not testifying to all of the things that was promised is big, and the jury is going to want to know why. >> jane velez-mitchell, you have been there covering the t

in orlando, jane velez-mitchell, host of hln's "issues." drew with wdbo radio and martin savidge. david mattingly is here as well. and we'll start with you. both sides want to win. each told jurors the other side's case was flawed, weak, and full of holes. they can't both be right. what happened today, david? >> reporter: about the only thing these two have in common, they both need an ending and we're very close to getting one right now. the prosecution in the closing arguments telling the jury that casey was a mother who was unhappy with her life. and that she wanted freedom. she wanted to have fun. and she was willing to sacrifice her daughter to get it. there were some very powerful moments as prosecutor jeff ashton pushed that point home and here one of them. >> she took her child. she took her life. and she put her in the trunk and forgot about her. after a couple days she couldn't forget anymore. she disposed of her body in a swamp. these are the facts that you have heard. and these are the facts that prove beyond a reasonable doubt

after jurors started their deliberations, the legal teams left the courthouse and jane velez-mitchell literally chased them down. watch this. >> reporter: this is live television in progress, can you see the media. this is cheney mason and the entire media right there. cheney, what do you think? do you wish you had an opportunity to rebut what linda burdock said today? what are you going to do now? how are you going to spend your time during the verdict watch, sir? >> their work is now done. i want to go to david mattingly who's been covering this story for us. the prosecution made sure they went in with a very powerful image in front of them. what was that image and why is this so significant? >> what they did, they put a photograph up in front of the jury, it's actually two photographs. one was showing casey anthony partying out on the town in a hot body contest. the other was her, a closeup of the tattoo she had put on her shoulder in italian reading "the sweet life." those are two things that happened while her daughter was missing before she even told anyone about her being gone.
