janelle burrell is live with more. janelle? >> reporter: investigators from the nypd's investigative crime scene unit was out here most of the night, leaving a few hours ago. the investigation focused on the building behind me, where the two teens were seen running from moments after the pellet was fired. investigators say the officer was getting out of the passenger's side of the this black ford taurus when the pellet struck her in the back, just yards from gracie mansion. the female officer, part of mayor de blasio's advance team pulled up to the mayor's residence on east end avenue ahead of his arrival when the incident happened around 7:15 sunday night. police say the officer's partner looked up and noticed people looking outside from across the street. officers ran into the building to see two people running from that apartment building. a 19-year-old man and a 19-year- old woman were arrested a short time later. >> now, the officer who was shot was treated and released from the hospital. she is expected to be okay. the ma

janelle burrell is live in new dorf to explain. janelle? >> reporter: chris, one of the incidents happened in the parking lot of this stop and shop supermarket, and just imagine, this woman was loading up her groceries into her car, and it was 9:30 at night when the two armed men came up to her, pretending to be police officers and then robbed her at gunpoint, and here is the sketch that police released of one of the men they are looking for this morning, and again they said they are armed with guns, using walkie talkies, posing as police, leaving the then? a white chevy malibu. it was captured on video. the first incident was around 2:00 a.m. on sunday, july 12th where police say two men were walking to the corner store when the suspects followed them, flashed their guns, and ordered them up against the wall and robbed them of $300. later that night, police say the men approached a woman here on highland boulevard in the stop and shop parking lot and stole her purse. a third incident happening on august 7th when they robbed a teenager. pol

janelle? >> reporter: the woman is still in the hospital this morning after that very violent attack here in bed-stuy yesterday morning. we want to show you surveillance video of the suspect police are looking for at this hour. it was around 3:00 monday morning, and the 52-year-old was apparently walking to a nearby store on putnam street when her ago alleged attacker approached her, threatening to shoot her with a gun, and then he allegedly forced his hand down her mouth and sexually assaulted her near an outdoor staircase that led to a basement. somehow during the struggle the woman lost two of her teeth, and this morning, again, police are looking for her attacker, described as a male in his late 30s with a muscular build with possible bite marks on his right hand. anyone who recognizes him should call the nypd. janelle burrell, cbs 2 news. >>> a tennessee tourist has been arrested for taking a selfie on the brooklyn bridge this is the picture that led for the fbi to go after david karmauch

janelle burrell is live in rahway with more. janelle? >> reporter: police are still looking far shooter at this hour, accused of trying to rob the cab driver, shooting him in the head, killing him while he was still in the driver seat of his vehicle, and we want to show you video of what the scene looked like here earlier, on bedford street a quiet residential street here in rahway, turned into a huge crime scene overnight, and police were initially call to the scene after a report of a car accident, but when they got here, they found the taxi slammed into two parked cars, and the cab company manager says it appears there was a struggle, and the gun was fired, and the driver was shot, lost control of his taxi, accelerating, causing the crash, and we spoke to the worker of the cab driver who was killed, and he asked not to be identified, but he said the driver was a family man, had a large family and worked for years as a cab driver to provide for his loved ones. >> it's horrible. there's animals out there, over a couple of hundred dollar

cbs2's janelle burrell joins us live from plainfield. janelle? >> reporter: well, mary, that fire began in one home quickly spread to the two homes next to it. and it took firefighters a few hours to get it under control. eventually getting the flames out at about 4:00 this morning. let's show you some video of what this scene looked like earlier as firefighters battled those flames. they say they got the call just after 2:00 arriving to find number 640 east 2nd street engulfed. it took about 80 firefighters from here in plainfield and other tons to get -- towns to get the flames under control. the chief tells us it appears that everyone made it out safely but he says part of the building number 640 did collapse. so their plan is to come back later today and do a more thorough search but so far, they say no reports for any firefighters or residents who lived in the buildings here: reporting live this morning from plainfield, new jersey, janelle burrell, cbs2 news. >>> all right thank you. divers will resume their search for a missing fisherman in

. >> reporter: well, janelle, a huge sigh of relief for an oakland neighborhood under lockdown for about three hours now. that lockdown has been lifted. the pursuit from san francisco ended up here in oakland, one street over on 60th street. that's where the get-away car crashed into a tree. here's video of the first suspect being arrested at 61st and idaho in front of a church. soon after that, the s.w.a.t. team and police from several agencies, including san francisco, did a door to door search for the second suspect. that search lasted a couple of hours. the second suspect was eventually caught in the backyard of a home after being bitten by a police dog. police found a camera and a gun inside the get-away car. police say the two suspects are facing serious charges. >> so we have a plethora of charges that could be facing, robbery at the minimum. assault with a deadly weapon for the shooting. felony evasion for the police pursuit. resisting arrest for running and leading officers on foot pursuit. and also maybe even attempted murder charges, depending on the circumstances of the case.

. >> and i'm janelle wang. raj and jessica are off tonight. san jose police say they're trying to build a bigger and stronger case against the man you saw in that video. he's accused in a crime spree which includes more than just attempted carjacking. robert handa is live from the san jose park where it all happened. robert, you have our first close-up look at the suspect and what investigators say they need to make the more serious charges stick. >> reporter: well, that's right. we're at kahalin park in san jose where there were less visitors since those wild events on friday. that wild scene has made it tough for investigators. when 22-year-old albert alexander hernandez was booked into jail, his photo image looked very much like a man who has been dragged down a street, which is what police say happened. home video shows a man who police say is hernandez running from the top of the screen, right to left, trying to carjack this vehicle and holding on frac particul -- frantically as the driver speeds down the road. officers swarmed the area a
