here is doctor janette nesheiwat. good to see you this morning.t would you tell your patients if you are talking to parents who are concerned and wondering if they think their teens should be getting the vaccine? >> what i would tell my patients is this condition although there does seem to be a link is extremely rare. at this point the benefits of the vaccine still outweigh any potential risks or side effects. they found this case, these cases in a small number of young male patients after their second dose. most of the cases, the majority of them were easily treated with over-the-counter anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen. if you do have any concerns, things to look out for after your second those are things like chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitation and even fever. the cases would be very mild, rare and easily treatable. >> this falls in line with the toughest age group, beyond those younger teen years. what do you think of that age group, trying to figure out if this is something they want to do and if it is worth it to get vaccinated.
