janice, welcome. tell us more about jessica and tell us what she was able to do with the extra 8 1/2 years of life because of organ donation. >> right. it's an incredible amount of time, actually. so my daughter jessica shah bartz was born in 1980 with a congenital heart defect. she had open heart surgery when she was just ten months old and needed a life-saving heart transplant when she was 14. so, there's a young teenager now, just starting high school and she only had, unfortunately, 8 1/2 years ahead of her but it was an incredible time. she got to graduate with her class in high school. she got to go on to college. she graduated from junior college and she was at temple university at the time. and unfortunately, she passed when she was 23 years old. >> those years just weren't hers, but also your families and every friend that jesse made and everybody that she touched, right? everybody was blessed by those 8 1/2 years. >> she was an incredibly happy child, incredibly artistic. she got to fall in
