janine de la vega is live in the downtown area, we hear this is a homicide investigation?yes, i just spoke to a lieutenant, there is a body of a man laying down there in the street where you see all of those patrol cars. they are waiting for homicide investigators to a to arrive here on the scene and right now they are securing it. this is video we talk just before 3:00 a.m. and there was a pedestrian walking by. he saw the man facedown in the street and there was blood all around him. again he was facedown and they too realized he was unresponsive when they examined him they didn't touch him or turn him around but whatever he was injured from it was not consistent with being hit by a car so they believe it was a homicide and it definitely is suspicious. they don't know what race he is but they know he is an adult area looking for witnesses and they will see if it might give clues into what happened here. we did ask if this person appeared to be a transient by the clothes he was wearing but he was unable to speculate on that. we will stay on the scene to determine to give
