janna it has greg and take a look behind me. you can see this huge stack of snow that was pushed up by bulldozers. see it's like starting to ice over. that's because it's very cold here. if you take a look behind me, there are some lights but just down the road, it is dark. they have lost power since about last night, and some pg and e crews that came through here told me the roads back there are so snowy they can't get back there, so they are hoping to get power back on sometime tomorrow morning. but today all the way through sonoma county and up here and napa county. a lot of people were just bracing for what's still to come. it was a surprise. a snow flurry on friday turned wine country into a winter wonderland. since snow like this, it's probably been. since about early two thousand's snowflakes covered the slopes surrounding napa valley and across into sonoma county, and the cold snap meant the snow stock instead of melting, even at low elevations. highway 29 over mount st helena was closed due to snow and fallen trees and

since thursday, janna. mike and heather. i don't know if you can see this, but it just started coming down. we're getting snow. it's kind of an icy, uh, icy snow that we're getting right now. here in angwin. i didn't even have time to run and get a hat or eight an umbrella. but if you look behind me, too, you can see how cold it still is that this snow that's been piled here. since last thursday has not had much of a chance to melt and many people are trying to weather the storm in the cold without power. snow continued falling monday in napa county, turning snowy slopes into mountains of misery. for some people who have spent four days with no power. the power went off thursday, and we haven't had it since. for luann best. the stress is enough to break her heart. my mom's on oxygen. she um, is on hospice. and the biggest thing for me is making sure that she has oxygen says they started running a generator to power. her mother linda's oxygen machine extension cords running through the open door to her bedroom. my bedroom was
