rebecca jarvis, abc news, new york. >> we turn now to the tsunami disaster in indonesia. survivors are traumatized and are afraid of what might come next. more than 420 people were killed and thousands more injured. authorities are warning people in the tsunami zone not to return home. abc's ian pannell is there. >> reporter: yeah, janai, zachary, good morning from one of the areas hardest hit by that massive tsunami that swept through here on saturday night. the sea is behind me i guess probably about 150 yards but so big were the waves that they surged right between these two buildings. originally the government said the waves were only three feet high but residents and survivors say they were closer to 15 feet high. you can see the damage that they have brought. look at this building here, the waves surged through. and we were told there were three waves through the the back of the house punching out the front wall. you can see this is a solid brick wall. a massive search and rescue operation is under way. we were speaking to a team leader of one of those teams and he
