but i want to bring in jason carroll and get his take on what's playing out on campus right now what do you make of these scenes? >> in both sides of these issues, so many students reported joe paterno really felt like this was a man that they had looked up to for so many years. i think that's why it's so hard for them to take some of this news. even so, in terms of what joe paterno was like and some of the things that he was saying in front of his home, thanking the students for coming out, these types of things that you have to imagine, it's not the type of activity that joe paterno would want to see. because if you think about the type of man that he is, he set a high standard. he saw students acting in way that might be rowdy or in some way disrespect the university really goes against what in many ways joe paterno stood for for some 46 years while he was there coaching there at penn state. >> mike, we've established contact with you now. galanos, what are you seeing now? where are these students going? >> reporter: they are headed to beaver avenue and they are flocking to that p

we are going to check in with jason brooks with kcbs and cbsmoneywatch.com.ason, the greek prime minister really kind of surprising a lot of the other leaders out there today. >> prime minister of greece throwing a big curve ball into this game. last week, everybody was feeling good that, okay, european leaders have come up with a plan to attack greek's debt crisis in the short term. it didn't take long for that to unravel. the greek prime minister wants the public to vote on whether or not the government should be in favor of this bailout. greece is essential to this. if greece doesn't go along with it, it increases the likelihood of a greek default meaning major european banks could face total losses on their greek debt holdings. and that could hammer many of them into submission. it would take tremendous government intervention to keep those banks from failing! this is a huge issue. as a result, stock markets around the world have been selling off in a big way. european markets and here in the u.s. we started yesterday with this, the dow loss 276 yesterday
