joining us now is kcbs radio's financial reporter jason brooks.ood morning. >> reporter: good morning, kenny and michelle. tesla is calling those claims preposterous. the national highway traffic safety administration says it's investigating claims of potential problems with the suspension on the model s. says it wants to hear back from owners about that. it all stems from a blog, an auto blog, that claimed tesla paid half the repair bills for owner in exchange for a goodwill agreement maintaining confidentiality in the matter. tesla says it's ludicrous that any of that existed and said there are no problems with its suspension. auto analysts say tesla can get into more of these issues as it sells more cars. stock in the company is lower today. also urban outfitters sending a chill through the markets once again lowering its forecast. its shares are down 7%. retail has been on a rough run for months. the stock market heading quite a bit lower in the early going. let's check it. dow down more than 120. nasdaq down 50. s&p is lower by 17. kenny and

joining us now is kcbs radio's financial reporter jason brooks.morning. >> reporter: good morning. not the news we want to wake up to but unfortunately, yet another hack attack. this one involving to noodles -- the noodles restaurant change hackers installing malware at the payment terminals across the country. more than two dozen states impact including california with a half dozen locations around the bay area listed by the company as places that might have been have been hacked between february and june. that would include two locations in san francisco, one in concord, another in santa clara, cupertino, and vacaville. noodles isn't saying how many accounts were impacted but says that if you used a card at those location, check your accounts. >>> consumer spending is on the rise. the commerce department reports that in may, it was up 4/10ths of a percent. not quite as strong as april but it was the second straight gain and solid showing overall. wage growth still pretty weak and savings was down a bit from the prior month. stock market looking
