. >> let's bring in kcbs radio's financial reporter jason brooks for more on the wild fluctuations that we're seeing today. jason. >> reporter: it's the blink and you miss it market. seriously. you turn away for one second and the dow can go up or down a couple hundred points. it's just been that kind of a week. it's been the worst week of the stock market since the financial crisis in the fall of 2008. the dow and the s&p officially in correction territory, each down over 10% from the recent peaks. today has been another volatile day for the market. the dow charged out of the gate up over 300 points and then midway through pulled a u-turn into the red, and it was down by almost 500. the market is trying to rally late in the session. it had some solid gains and now kind of going back and forth and choppy trading. we are going to head into this final hour. it's anybody's guess as to where the market will wind up. not quite near the bottom. the market not signifying that yet. and we are going to have to find out in the next few sessions whether or not that will be the case. but right now,
