let's start with jason brown. what does he need to do to get a medal? >> he will have to do what he did yesterday. he went out and skated a clean program. he had all the panache he normally has. a personal best, you can't ask for better. he was fortunate that everyone around him had some problems. there were 17 at temps-19 at temps and only seven people achieve them. that was it the story. he obviously doesn't have a quad. but he stated a blender. >> the fact that he does not to a quadruple jump, how much does that hurt him in the scoring? >> it's worth a lot of points. but jason has so many good qualities. it took him three years to get a triple axel. and during a frustrating time he worked so hard on his bins and everything else from this program. he has a bit of an edge even without those quads. if people make mistakes, he will do ok. its interim results for him to be six. it's his first year as a senior. >> how would you describe the morale among the u.s. skaters? >> it's a young team. all about experience. they are having the time of their lives. a
