. >> let me just ask y straight out, jason fraley, is it really going to scare >>us? yes.hat's the goal of every horror movie, right? especially for halloween. i'm a big fan of the original by mahn carpenter. there's been s franchises building. i think we're in the 11 inallment now. the original was pretty inventive. this one, they asked u to forget about all the previous silly sequels. michael myer breaks loose and goes on another killing spree. the best part of this is jamie leecu is. her mom was janet l from "psycho." this time it's 40 years later, she's a grandmother,ra eed from her daughter, trying to bond with the granddauter, but also deals with trauma. she has ptsd, as anyone would having gone through that all those years ago. i think it's directed well. lots of nostalgic callks bac with coat closet hiding places and clothes lines and little people standing outside classroom windows. it isrey gory. so if the slasher thing is not your thing, it's definitely a lot of high body count here. i think if you're into the genre, you'll be pleased. count?you say high body >>

. >> our entertainment editor jason fraley joins us live. we've heard from critics and the buzz around this is really, really good. what do you ink? >> absolutely love this. it one of my favorite movies of the year and i'd venture to say one of the best space films ever done. i absolutely loved this movie. these true stories are great. "apollo 13," "hidden figures." if any story deserved the big treatment, it's the armstrong moon landing of 1969. i think this is more like "the right stuff," in terms of it chronicles the entire decade leading up to it. so we start with flying an f-16 plane over the desert and watch all the other failed missions leading up to this. gosling i think is perfectly cast. it more of an introspective look. right off the bat we see him grievinghe loss of his daughter. this haunts him throughout the entire movie. for me maybe a little more somber take on the movie than a r rah-rah patriotism that some people wanted. ere's that flag controversy people wanted to see. we do see the stars andontripes he moon but the direct
