just happened to take the wrong turn kayla shark and jason kling saw a crashed semi on des moines' south side this weekend. they stopped their ambulance, and discovered the driver unresponsive in the front seat. so, they began performing c-p-r and using a defibrillator to restart the man's heart. luckily, he regained consciousness... the touching thing was he wasn't concerned about him he was concerned about if he hurt anybody. he kept asking did i hurt anybody? and we're like no and so him being a truck driver we figured out he was afraid maybe he had run his truck into someone. for him to come to, after all of that, and his concern was other people's well fare, that's just a great thing. the indianola fire chief is commending the medics for performing above and beyond their duty. mostly cloudy skies will hold on at least into the overnight in central iowa. while winds will be light at first from the nw at 5 to 10 mph, they will pick up and gust 20 to 25 mph on wednesday. with the wind, even though tthere will be more sun on wednesday, highs will be slightly cooler, in the upper 30s. wi
