jay korff the details of this disturbing case. what is the latest? jay: leon, she works here at anacostia high school last year. now she is out of jail without bond from baltimore county jail, charged with attempted first-degree murder. the police allege sunday that lisa findley tossed gasoline on her boyfriend, then threaten to set him on fire and baltimore county. he fled and when he returned, the house was on fire. the fire was put out and finley arrested. according to d.c. police schools, she is an educational aid at anacostia high school. when her employment begins in the fall she will be placed on leave because of this incident. finley lives in this neighborhood in northeast washington. >> shocked. it's a very quiet neighborhood. jay: this neighbor said the circumstances surrounding her rest come as a shock. >> you never know truly your neighbors are. jay: finley is also charged with first-degree assault and first-degree arson. jay korff, abc 7 news. leon: in the district, on the hill, and emotional hearing about immigration. lawmakers picking t

jay korff has why the investigation is nowhere near being over. jay: in part because the authorities believe others could be involved. they are also waiting for additional dna evidence to come back. now the case is moving forward. before a packed courtroom, d.c. superior court judge rhonda winston said that probable cause exists. there is accused of holding the steve: savopoulos family and their housekeeper for several days, before getting ransom money and torching their home and killing them. his dna was found at a construction vest found inside of the savopoulos' torched vehicle, which was later discovered in maryland. there and went's -- daron wint's dna was also on a pizza crust that was found at the crime scene. the authorities say they are not done with dna testing on items found in the home including a baseball bat and duct tape. both sides theorized wint may not have acted alone. according to testimony come a week after the killings, the police pulled over to vehicles. wint was in a car carrying $10,000 of money orders and and an additional

jay korff live with what happens next. jay: metro has put out a bid and they want to get a contractor in who can safely remove the asbestos that is in these 1000 series cars. again they stress this is not a health hazard to riders, but when you say the word asbestos people worry. according to this recent contract proposal, metro is looking for a vendor to remove and dispose of as best the 1000 series railcars that are being replaced by the new 7000 series cars. 280 at these cars still remain in use throughout the system. it only took us minutes to see 1000 series cars pull into the courthouse metro station. metro officials say an extremely small amount of asbestos is located in a mechanical area of the cars. they stressed the material is outside of the passenger cabin and is not accessible to rider thus posing nos hazard or concern. the danger of asbestos comes when released in -- released into the air and pulled into the loanungs. >> it is important that you tell people and basically tried to keep them away from it if you
